Social

Not sure it's been mentioned but the group take the social part of the walking very seriously.

As well as the traditional Sunday meal after each walk we also meet up regularly for a weekend evening of fun and laughter. Fancy an Italian? An Indian? Bowling? Pub crawl on the train?

New members are welcome at own expense (but with contribution from the membership social fund).

We try to maintain a schedule of events.

Try a Splinter social event

Social events are undertaken with the usual warnings. Clothing and footwear suitable for the prevailing conditions should be worn. Members are also personally responsible for their own safety as the group can't be held liable for accidents, loss, headaches or loss of bodily functions.
